A Nike match jersey, the same quality the players wear, is now available for pre-order on the club’s official website for a staggering £114.95.

That has left supporters stunned, and with an away and third kit on the way, they may have to fork out £344.85 for the full set.

If you want customisation on the ‘Match Jersey’ the will increase to a staggering £142.95 with sleeve patches and the name and number of a favourite player.

The 2023/24 season will be Liverpool’s fourth with Nike as their kit supplier, with the American brand replacing New Balance in 2020 in a deal worth a reported £80million per-year, a record at the time.

In their fourth effort clothing the Reds, Nike excited fans with a throwback to the 1998-2000 shirt which was famously Steven Gerrard’s first-ever for the club.

With a snazzy launch featuring Jurgen Klopp’s new front line of Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz, fans were hoping to get their hands on a shirt, but many have quickly changed their minds.
