He was a student at Billy Ryan High School in Denton in the year he played, and played a key role in helping his team Ryan Raiders win their first Texas Class 4A state championship. He participated at the 2003 U.S. Army All-American Bowl and was named an Parade magazine high school All-American.
In the 2007 season, Moss played in six games for the Denver Broncos. Moss recorded 12 tackles and one sack. Moss injured his shin in training on November 1, 2007 and was put in injured reserve the 2nd of November in 2007, thereby ending his season.

Jarvis Jaray Moss (born August 3 1984) is an American professional and former college footballer who played defensive lineman of the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons. He played for the college team of The University of Florida, received All-American distinction as well as being a part of the BCS National Championship team in 2006.
