Paris Saint-Germain ultras have held a protest outside the training ground calling for the club’s management to resign.

The league leaders fell to a 3-1 defeat against Lorient at the Parc des Princes on Sunday after Achraf Hakimi was shown a second yellow card in the 20th minute.

Frustrated fans protested on Monday, calling for resignations and stating that they no longer respect the club’s management.

They held banners that read: “Rage before the tidal wave, management resign, nobody respects you anymore, why should we?”, and, “you do not represent our city, who recognises himself in this PSG? Get the hell out!”

The club have now lost nine games since the start of 2023, four of those coming at home.

PSG manager Christophe Galtier said after the defeat: “Players have to push something. There are too many players below their level.”

Despite the defeat, PSG are still top of the table, five points clear of Marseille in second.
